A 1980’s Merchant Builders home on a large block in Portsea had become dated and overgrown with the garden around it. The integrated oregon pergola was in a state of decay and needed to be replaced. With this in mind the owner was fortunate to be able to engage her son, an Architect, to plan the renovation and extension.
With the concept of the renovation already planned, Capelcon worked with the Architect to detail and specify the project. By combining the design skills of the Architect with the practical methods of the builder, the extension integrated so well it could have been built that way originally.
Extensive decking, modern colours and textures and a lot of hard work have transformed this house into a beautiful modern family beach house.
